Each year, our elementary school works with the St. Vincent de Paul Society to fill Christmas baskets for families in need. This winter, both of my kids drew small children to purchase gifts for, so we decided to pick up gift cards to a major toy shop and wrap them in shiny cellophane and ribbon.
